2005 3 day Workshop on “Principles of Animation” for the Arabic Broadcast Union
(ABU) in Damascus

"Concurrently with the workshop at the Goethe Institute in 2005, I had also the rather unique opportunity to conduct a seminar at the Arabic Broadcast Union on German animation:
This institution is a governmentally funded body, educating professionals from several islamic partner countries on all topics related to TV production. Thus I could communicate my concepts and the fascinating topic of animation production to a very diverse audience. After a traditional welcome tea, 3 days were spent on explaining aesthetic concepts and hands on animation techniques. This also opened the door to consecutive visits to several Syrian animation production studios."
